The Viper Edge Kit, a new jaw and cutter set to cut flat vehicles on the Silca Viper. This means that the machine is able to cut laser and flat keys on one machine without the need of additional machines or stand alone software.
The Jaw only needs to be calibrated once, the same as the Triax and is easily interchangeable in the machine. There is a new cutter (H158) and Decoder (U113DC) for the keys and tracer, templates, Wintransfer and Instructions
Some of the key features on the new key jaw is Taper Correction, Key Blank Detection and Copy by measured values.
Taper Correction - The second cut of the key can sometimes be difficult to align. You can select a method where the machine takes a reading from two areas of the key and adjust the cut to make sure the second cut is square.
Key blank Detection - Customers do not always use Silca keys and the measurement of the keys do differ if only fractionally. The machine will take measurements from the key and adjust accordingly.
Copy by Measured Values - This is the same function on the Idea and Unocode where by you can take a vehicle key and cut it to the reading off the machine or cut it exactly to the manufacturers specifications.
