About Us
The history of North West Key Services.
|
|
North West Key Services were formed in 1980 by Jim Rutter. Initially based around Merseyside and North Wales, stock was held and supplied from the back of a small van. In 1984 Samantha Rutter joined the company and a shop was purchased in Stanley Rd, Liverpool. These premises formed a retail key cutting centre and a stock warehouse. Continuing the family tradition, June Rutter joined the company in 1987 overseeing administration and accounts.
With the acquisition of electronic key cutting machinery and the back up of high volume key blanks our reputation grew as a specialist key cutting centre. When Nicola Rutter joined in 1987, she introduced the auto locksmithing service to the company.
Over the years business has inevitably expanded and this has increased our van sales area. We have four Mercedes Sprinter vans on the road, fully stocked with a vast range of key blanks. This offers a unique key supply service. Our area now covers Cumbria down to Stafford, and from Anglesey over to Nottingham. We also offer a highly efficient nationwide delivery service with free postage, for orders over £80.00 nett.
We are mainly distributors for Silca cylinder and vehicle key blanks, and British manufactured steel and brass mortice key blanks. We will however, endeavour to identify and obtain key blanks from all sources to give you the very best range.
We feel that the unique partnership between wholesale and retail key supplies gives us invaluable knowledge in the demand, identification and source of all key blanks. Expert help and advice is our guarantee of bringing you the very best service.
